Not sure if this helps you but I am using Audible with no problems using
Internet Explorer 9 and Jaws 14.

Because I can't get it to do things I frequently need to do with IE.
I may be able to get used to it but, frankly, why bother?
It may seem strange to most of you who are more confident with Techy stuff
but I tend to stick with what I know unless forced to change.

Why not switch permanently to firefox. I have been using it now for 7 years

I haven't answered before as I thought others might be able to help you
more, but I haven't seen any other replies.
I can't help with the mp3 thing, as it is all a mystery to me but I have had
problems with Audible too.
I was told it was because I use IE (8 in my case) so if I want to download
from my library I use Firefox and go onto the alternative site they give the
link to (....access, I think).
I was about to give up when I gave it one last go a few weeks ago but it
worked.
I can still buy the books using IE but may have to switch temporarily to
Firefox when I download them.
Hope this helps. It's been a real pain in the you-know-what for me.
