The purpose of the program is to extract audio from DVD's. You can get a 30
day trial, or purchase it for $32.50.

How much does DVd Audio Extractor cost, and do youknow a reliable source to get it from? Is this program just capable of letting you listen to dvds, or can it also extract the audio, which it would possibly seem by the name?
Thanks for responding. I appreciate.

Hi
I would say that Power DVD is the most accessible program for viewing and listening to DVD's, however if you want to just hear DVD's, then DVD audio Extractor is very good and extremely accessible.

Hi Donna.
To play bought dvds you need dvd playing software.
I believe that PowerDVD is meant to be one of the more accessible programs
but haven't really played with it.
Secondly, do the DVDs you create work in any other dvd player do you know?
what software are you using to copy files to the dvd?
Cheers
Graham

It struck me that I didn't explain this very well before, so hopefully this
is better:
I have a Pioneer DVD/RW DVR-106D
I can read and play audio cds with this no problems.
It also recognises bought dvds, though I don't as yet know how to play these
on the computer.
But, if I use a blank DVDr, it will copy stuff onto it fine, like MP3 or
data files, but it won't read it. So once I've copied the files, they won't
play.
Is this a normal thing to expect, or do people think there's something wrong
with it?
And, incidentally, how do you play a bought dvd on the computer?
Really hoping someone can satisfy my curiosity.
