Hi David,
Thanks for the info on attachments, I'll try them out tomorrow.
I've always used Ins+A right up to JAWS 15 for opening attachments.
Any views on "Clickable items", I'm coming across them more often on web pages
where there are no alternative named links.
Jim

I thought Insert A was a Window-Eyes command with their office addon?
Anyway the way I have always dealt with attachments using Jaws and Office
2010 is Open the message.
Shift tab into the attachment area.
Then use control right or left arrow to review the attachments. Use control
shift and left or right arrow to highlight the attachment you are interested
in. Then press the application key to bring up the context menu.
The context menu will include the option to either save the highlighted
attachment or you can alternatively select the save all attachments option.
Alternatively if you just want to open the attachment then highlight as
above and just press the enter key.
Only do this for known trusted files.

Subject: [access-uk] A couple of JAWS 18 problems
Hi Lists,
Apologies for cross posting
JAWS 18, Using Windows 7 and Office 2010
Has the command for opening attachments changed, I press Ins+A and all I
hear JAWS saying is the letter A. I've tried using the passthrough key
combination (Ins+3) with no success.
Also, when I come across the dreaded "clickable item" using the JAWS mouse
simulation key on the numeric keypad has no affect. Any ideas?
