Thanks George, but unfortunately after reading relevant info about Blaster, it would appear that Win98 users aren't at risk. My sister is using a 98 system!

Ah well, it would have been just to easy otherwise.

Hi Darran,

Look for the "Blaster Worm" or just "Blaster"

George.

Subject: [access-uk] A Virus Fix Question

Hi List.

A few months back there was a lot of talk about a virus that
turned off PC's after two or three minutes. A family member
seems to have this now and I was wondering how do I go about
finding the fix?

I did go to Symantec's website, but not knowing the virus's
name, meant I was getting nowhere fast!

Any guidance gratefully received.

Regards.

Darran
