Hi All,

Forgive me if you've seen this but I had no replies and wondered whether the original message got through. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm having a problem with my USB storage device, built into the computer, in
that, once I've stopped a device to take out a CF card (or similar), I then
cannot insert another card of the same type and get the device going again.
This also applies to my stand-alone USB ports and an external card reader I
sometimes use. My only way forward seems to be to reboot. As I am
frequently wanting to use various cards, this is somewhat annoying, to say
the least ...

I don't recall that these ports always worked like this and wonder if
something has changed (with regard to MS Services which may have become
turned off (perhaps as various software has been introduced or upgraded)
that are needed for my USB's to function correctly.

I haven't knowingly played with any Services and, before doing so, would
value any thoughts as to whether a manual change made by me will solve the
problem. If you have any suggestions, I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.
