Carol, you've already had the answer I know to your question about time 
stretching or
shrinking in Winamp, i.e. PaceMaker.  I'd just add that when I tried it with 
v5.x of Winamp
it wouldn't work for me.  I'm not saying it won't work for you though, but it 
didn't here.
