Hi Jackie
what about the view that some people may feel that
if all emails are let through, the company is then blamed for
not doing enough to stop spam!

 Regards, Derek

Hi Alex

Very interesting. What BT interprets as spam or junk isn't
necessarily the
same for me or anyone else. They ought to let everything through if
you
have Outlook set to receive messages instead of using their webmail
client,
and let the user be the judge of what is spam. If it wasn't for
having all
the hassle that goes with changing ISP and getting new Email accounts,
then
putting in new WiFi codes everywhere, I would be off like a shot! I
don't
like Bt support at all, you can never speak to anyone who properly
understands what you are trying to explain.

Kind regards,

Hi Jackie,

I personally haven't had problems myself, as I have set my system to
allow
spam through and it lands in a junk mail folder in Outlook 2010, which
I
check nearly every time I am using my machine

However, my wife, Carol, is also using a BT account and we had to have
a
RNIB volunteer out recently to check some things for us both due to
changes
at the BT end. One of the things we wanted to check was whether any
e-mails
had got stuck in Carol's spam folder, which I couldn't work out how to
do.
