Hi Listers,

At least the 6630 has only one of them <smile>.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Mel.

I stand corrected if I'm wrong here, but I've got a feeling the only
Talks-compatible phones minus a camera are the Series 80 models.

Cheers,

Mark

Personally I think the 6680 is a good phone. A friend of mine has one and
it seems to work well with Talks. However, like George, I don't really want
the cameras and MP3 players, I just want a good quality phone that will run
Talks. Are there any Talks phones which aren't camera phones?

Then I'd equally seriously suggest you try before you buy, Mark. If I ever
see one of those again, I won't be responsible for what I do with it.

Funnily enough George I'm seriously considering upgrading
to
one of these babies next April when I'm entitled. Like you
I
just use the phone for staying in contact, however I've
heard
glowing reports regarding stability.
As you can no doubt appreciate when running a
Screen-reader,
this is critical. Therefore with this in mind, I'll
probably
go ahead - unless of course further developments occur in
the
meantime.

Cheers,

Mark

I know what you mean here. My wife, wanting to give me an

early Christmas present, acquired a free upgrade for me to
a
Nokia 6680 or something of that ilk. (I currently have a
Nokia 6310i)

Now I reckon I'm moderately technologically savvy, but
after
an hour with this animal, I nearly threw it at the wall.
It
has now gone back to the Vodaphone shop. I don't want two

cameras, I don't want an MP3 player, I don't want...... I

just want to make and receive telephone calls and
messages.

So I guess at 58 years of age, and 20-30 years in the computer field one way or another, I am well past this new

generation of technology.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good quality string? The
mice have eaten the original, and made nests
of
the two tin cans I was using.

George.
