Thanks Ibrahim,

I’ll have a look, but, I believe their contracts come with the router, which
I do not need. They also do unlimited data, text, calls for £16.

Thank you

Ali

Hi Ali.

If Three offer a good service in your area, you might want to consider their
home broadband package.  You can check your coverage at:

http://www.three.co.uk/store/broadband/home-broadband/threehomebroadband

and an unlimited plan will set you back just £22 on a 24 month contract and
currently they are doing half price on selected plans with no up front cost.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Thanks Ibrahim,

I am thinking of getting one of those unlocked 4g routers;

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Archer-MR600-Unlocked-Configuration-required/dp/B07
S7DMY3H/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_2?_encoding=UTF8
<https://www.amazon.co.uk/Archer-MR600-Unlocked-Configuration-required/dp/B0
7S7DMY3H/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=X9RFANRXQA5GC45VG
AFQ> &psc=1&refRID=X9RFANRXQA5GC45VGAFQ

With this router, I can try all available networks and find the one we need
before commiting to a contract.

Thank you

Ali

Hi Ali.

There is no technical difference, it is just the use case scenario the
networks are trying to sell you on.  If you go for a home or mobile
broadband product, the network will sell you a data only SIM and in the case
of home broadband, equipment to use, something like a router.  With mobile
broadband, you can buy this as SIM only or as part of a package with
equipment such as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot or SIM enabled tablet.  Either
way the SIM will just have an allowance of data, texts will be supported but
allowances are usually quite limited.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [access-uk] 4g internet

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the difference between 4g sim only contracts, where one
is data only and the other one has the usual, e.g. minutes, txt and data? I
know the data only sims are more expensive than the other.

Please note, I am hoping to replace the existing broadband with the 4g
broadband.

Thank you

Ali
