Great news! This will help make our software better known. The publicity
will also indirectly help with fundraising. Jack and I will be traveling
to the meeting.

Dear John,

You have been selected as a Champion of Change for STEM for people with
disabilities, as part of President Obama's "Winning the Future" initiative
(whitehouse.gov/champions<http://whitehouse.gov/champions>). On May 7, we will
honor leaders who are making a positive impact in science, technology,
engineering and math (STEM) for people with disabilities in the areas of
employment and education. You were nominated by Jack Schroeder for your work
with Abilitiessoft, Inc.
Each week, the White House recognizes a different group of Americans nominated
through a public process who embody the President's goal of building an America
that will win the future. These groups range from educators to entrepreneurs
to community activists. Our office, the Office of Public Engagement (OPE),
will host a Champions of Change for STEM for people with disabilities. We want
to honor your efforts to hire people with disabilities in STEM fields, make
STEM materials accessible for people with disabilities, advance educational
opportunities for people with disabilities in STEM, promote STEM opportunities
for people with disabilities, develop programs or initiatives that change
attitudes about STEM for people with disabilities, and invent STEM products for
people with disabilities.

At this event, agency representatives and White House Offices will participate
in a discussion with the Champions to hear about the work you are doing. In
conjunction with this White House event, you will be featured on the White
House website.

The event will be held on May 7 from 1:30-3pm in the Eisenhower Executive
Office Building at the White House. (There is also an opportunity for you and a
guest to tour the White House on May 7 at 9:30am.) Please respond to this email
with intent to either accept or decline and please fill out the attached
security form for you and a guest by April 30th. Please also note the
additional information below needed by April 30. Please contact me directly if
you have further questions at
champions@xxxxxxxxxx<mailto:champions@xxxxxxxxxx>. We will be in touch before
the event with additional information, including a conference call to go over
the agenda on April 30, so you can prepare accordingly.

Congratulations on being selected as a 'Champion of Change'. Thank you for the
