Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in a short 10 to 15-minute survey to
learn about any plans you or your institution has in place for research studies
in the event of the death or long-term incapacitation of the principal
investigator (PI). The survey is completely anonymous, and your participation
is voluntary.

By participating in the study and sharing your experiences with contingency
planning on your own research team or within your institution, you will be
providing valuable information that will help to develop best practices and
ideas for professional development around contingency planning.

This study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Southern
California Institutional Review Board.
