Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Sorry for the late email regarding this week's Circle of Life.
I
will try to send the email by Wednesday evening every week, but for
right now, I am gonna just cut and paste what Dien wrote regarding
Circle of Life.
You can also check AACF's website at
www.aacfucsb.com to see the announcement posted by Michelle regarding this Friday night fellowship.
Here it is:
Dear Saints,
My name is Dien and for those that are in Santa Barbara during the
summer I want to invite you guys to a ministry call Circle of Life. The
location is the
Chinese Evangelical Free Church of Santa Barbara located on 15 West Calle Crespis. The first meeting will be this
Friday (7/14/06). The service will start at 7:30 pm, however there is a potluck at 6:15 pm.
I hope everyone will be able to make it. Don't worry about the food, if
you can't bring any. Come and feed on God's word and good Chinese food.
In the meantime, please keep us in your prays. If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact me at (805) 259-9430. More
information will be given as Friday (7/14/06) approaches.
Lastly the theme verse for this ministry is found in Ephesians 4:11-14 which
reads, "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as
evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the
saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of
Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the
stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ"

will be the 2nd meeting on July 21, 2006, and it will start at 7:30.
As Dien has mentioned, the potluck begins at 6:15 pm.
Here
are the directions to the Chinese church. Please feel free to call
Dien at 805-259-9430 or myself at 805-895-8857 for rides to the
fellowship.
If you are coming from UCSB:
Take the 101S
Exit Las Positas, and make a left. (you will pass an Elementary school, and a golf course before you get to State street)
Make a right on State Street
Drive past Coffee Bean, and when you see Long's Drugs,
Make a right onto W. Calle Crespis and park at Long's Drugs.
The
Chinese church is the white church-like building to the left of Long's
Drugs (if you are looking at the store from the outside).
