Well it is not costing anything so you might as well try it out.
Doing high escort of B-17’s in the new clouds is pretty cool, and when you see
the wheel drop down on a 109, after you hit him with rds, you know you got his
hydraulics.
Been flying the F86 and F18 which has been great fun, I might use the offer to
look at the F14 and Gazelle(to get ready for the Apache;)).
Also this looks like it could be fun as it has ground control and the fighting
ranges are just a bit longer than WW2, team fighting looks effective too:

The Cold War server does ground attack as well.
Must admit the IL2 servers are a getting old now, even with the excellent work
the map designers are putting in, a lot of them are just for goal hangers and
gamers with some of the stuff we have seen of late.
