You make copies of the files "system.dat" and "user.dat".
Together they are about 3 Mb, in my system (Win95b), and
are in the Windows folder. You can put the backup copies
anywhere, as long as you remember where you put them.
They normally have the Hidden and System attributes set,
so you will have to change that before you can copy them.
