I had the very same problem and HAD to after many attempts to install the=20 .inf floppy for the modem chose to just choose Standard Modem 56k from the= =20 install CD and then HAD to change the address of the card as well. Once I= =20 did those 2 things everything has been just fine. I h*te M$ and all it has become. It could have been the greatest force for= =20 good and profit the world has ever seen.
