Hello Elaine,
I have also received a few duplicate messages in the past few days. In my=
case, they were definitely the result of the same message being sent to=
both this list and our sister list on Yahoo. It was only a few messages=
though. You can easily tell if this is what is happening because the list=
names are slightly different, and on both lists the list name is placed in=
the subject line. This list (FreeLists) is [24hoursupport] and the Yahoo=
 list is [24hrsupporthelpdesk].

Setting your echo flag off just means that you will no longer receive=
copies of your own messages, that you send, to the list back as a list=
message. It won't stop any actual duplications of messages that others=
 post.

If you are truly receiving duplicate messages, please let me know, either=
 directly or at 24hoursupport-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and I will=
 investigate further.

Thanks,

Ron
