As a follow up to this thread, the way to get into the BIOS settings is= different depending on the computer. More specifically, it depends on the= maker of the BIOS chip. In general, you press a certain key or key= combination on the keyboard during a specific brief period during the boot= process. Every computer I have ever seen will tell you what key to press= during the boot process. Mine says "Press DEL to enter setup", but I have= seen directions to press F2, CTRL-S, and others. You have to press the key= or key combination during a brief (2 - 3 seconds, generally) period of= time after the screen that says what key to press appears and the boot= process continues. If you miss the window of opportunity, you have to let= the machine finish booting, shut it down, and try again.
