On boot now, I get a mini-window titled 'Explorer' that has an 'illegal operation' error message, details are; EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module SHELL32.DLL at 0177:7fce3fb4. Registers: EAX=0052f0d8 CS=0177 EIP=7fce3fb4 EFLGS=00010212 EBX=00000000 SS=017f ESP=00b4f23c EBP=00b4f24c ECX=005321b6 DS=017f ESI=00000000 FS=31df EDX=000030de ES=017f EDI=0052bc48 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 66 8b 11 66 85 d2 75 f1 c2 04 00 6a 02 58 c2 04 Stack dump: 7fcea73f 0052f054 0052bc48 00000000 00b4f380 7fceae95 0052f054 7fce41e8 00b4f388 00b4f37c 0052bc48 7fce92d0 00b4febc 00000000 bfb7ccf2 bfb7ccc1 When I click on 'close', it blanks 3/4ths of my systray icons (lower right clickable icons) but apparently doesn't close the programs. Then the mini-window error message comes back two more times, and the third time I click on closing it, it goes away. Hoping someone has a clue what to do about it. Thanks.
