Error 623 means that there is a problem with your "phone book".  What
every entry your modem is trying to connect to has a problem with it.
It could be for a number of reasons.  You really need to call your ISP
to help you with this.

Hi, I have a prob loading AOL broadband to my Windows XP laptop, the BT 
Voyager ADSL modem 'appears' to load ok but is not registered in the
'devices 
manager' but it then states that the BT Voyager ADSL modem is loaded but

comes up with the Error 623 message if I try to connect the modem ? Any
ideas 
?
