[24hoursupport] Desktop Icons

Problem
After booting as it finishes loading the Icons on the Desktop flash on an off
several times and the Disappear altogether.
The Taskbar is still visible, but you can't access it.
Holding Down the Windows Key with either E for Explorer, R for Run, or F for
Find none of these work.
You can however Hold down Ctrl Alt Del to bring up Task Manager
But you can't run anything from within here with the exception of Re-Start or
Shutdown
In Safe Mode everything is the same as above but the Taskbar also disappears.
Has anyone struck this one before?
