Hi Catherine,

No, not at all. Anyone at all can use it. In a way though, everyone who uses
it is a "tester" of the software since it's "version 1.0 Release Candidate
1". This is the version that means "We think it's good enough to put our
name on it and claim it's ready for prime time, but one last check just in
case".

It's actually been fairly stable for quite a while, meaning it's had way
less problems than other browsers out there. The only thing I don't like
about this browser is that it doesn't come with some standard plugins, like
Shockwave Flash, QuickTime, JavaVM, etc. You'll get the opportunity to get
those plugins when you encounter a page that uses it.

Regards,
Jim

Hi,

I checked out the Mozilla site and was left with the impression one
has to be a "tester" to download. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Catherine
