[18650] Pay attention to details - Lith batteries

Just got a flier from The Electronic Goldmine (Scottsdale, AZ,
www.goldmine-elec.com) and jumped for joy that they were selling Saft 2.25ah
Lithium Batteries. Sales price: $1.49 each. Called them up and they have
thousands... Sounds too good to be true, for a 3.6v 22250mh AA battery with
wire leads on each end.
But then I read the details - lithium thionyl chloride *primary* cell (not
rechargeable). So, these are not the batteries for EV use.
So, keep looking... I almost bought about 100 for use with my scooter
platform, but that would have been wasted money. Best to read all the fine
print before jumping.
