Simply food is a student organization devoted to the promotion of real food, in step with the principles of the Real Food Challenge, a national organization that coordinates with different campus groups. The organization defines real food as local, fair trade, humane, or ecologically sound: (What is "Real Food"?). A major goal of the RFC is the 20% by 2020 campaign, which seeks to convert 20%, or $1Bn, of food spending by colleges and universities towards real food by the year 2020. In the short term, our club is an educational opportunity for members to learn more about any aspect of food, from production to preparation, and to enjoy some delicious food in the process. Our goal is to help students develop the skills and know-how to make healthy, conscious decisions about the way they eat for the rest of their lives.
