This is the discussion list for the course on Theory and Practice of Instructional Design. Instructional Design is the sistematic planning for the development of education and training material. Traditionally ID guides managers and education people in the creation of books, videos, face-to-face classes and organizational curricula. With the spread of new information and communication technologies, Instructional Design is gaining more attention due to the necessity of developing educational materials and systems well fit to new medias such as CD-ROMs, Intranets, Internet, Mobile devices and such.
The course on Theory and Practice os Instructional Design aims at giving the participants the basic skills to develop instructional plans for the development of instruction through several types of medias.
