neueheimat: Fluechtlingshilfe „Neue Heimat“ Zunsweier

The refugee support group "Neue Heimat" takes care of all refugees living in Zunsweier, a suburb of Offenburg. These are currently 8 families, 6 from Syria, one from Afghanistan and one from Iraq, a total of 45 people.

The refugee support group was founded 4 years ago and currently consists of 12 members.

The primary goal of the group is to help the children who go to elementary school here with their homework. This school year, 9 young people from Zunsweier are helping us with this. The homework help takes place at the helpers' homes.

In addition, a Syrian couple receives German lessons, also at home with the teachers.

We help the individual families to understand official texts or similar things.
