Femrel-l began as a bitnet listserv in the early 1990s. It was started as an academic group discussing feminism and religion (hence, femrel), but expanded into a close-knit community that, at its height, had around 48 members, most of whom participated at least weekly, if not daily. The membership is down to around 30 members, with about 15 or so who are more active. With the demise of yahoo groups we are, once more, looking for a home.
