cdan: Christian Disability Advocacy Network
The Christian Disability Advocacy Network (Cdan) provides support to people with and without disabilities who are interested in advocacy and inclusion of people with disabilities in churches and the wider community in Australia. People with disabilities and those who support them are often not able to be involved in a local church community and may be isolated, particularly if they live in a rural area. This email list provides a safe and welcoming space where people can share their stories and experiences, and offer practical resources and support. Technology has played a significant role in revolutionising communication and accessibility for people with disabilities. Cdan will look at ways that technology can be used to advocate for inclusion of people with disabilities in churches, and how churches can best utilise this technology.
