The latest update of the XyWWWeb Jumbo U2 has a number of new frames
that build on Wengier's latest enhancements to the vDosPlus command set.
- Frames SETCFG and SETCOLOR enable you to issue these new vDosPlus
commands directly from the XyWrite command line (CMline). The usage is
the same as in DOS. For example:
SETCFG<Helpkey> (list settings and current values)
SETCFG title=My new title<Helpkey>
SETCOLOR 0 (0, 0, 65)<Helpkey>
SETCOLOR 0 #000041<Helpkey>
- A new frame SETCOLORS (note the final "S") allows you to DeFine
(select) an entire vDosPlus color scheme (COLORS= directive) in text and
see it immediately take effect. For example, you could DeFine the
following block from a sample config.txt file (the REMs are ignored):
rem The following would give you a gray scaled color scheme:
rem COLORS = (0,0,0) #0e0e0e (75,75,75) (89,89,89) (38,38,38)
(52,52,52) #717171 #c0c0c0 #808080 (28,28,28)
(150,150,150) (178,178,178) (76,76,76) (104,104,104)
(226,226,226) (255,255,255)
Command SETCOLORS<Helpkey> and the color scheme is swapped in.
- A new frame SCREENSIZE allows you to resize the vDosPlus screen on the
fly, from the XyWrite CMline. Usage is SCREENSIZE cols, lins<Helpkey>.
For example:
SCREENSIZE 110,43<Helpkey>
SCREENSIZE 80,35<Helpkey>
