What do _you_ call people who always take and never reciprocate?
"Clever"?  In the torrent realm, they're called "leechers" (vs.
"seeders"), and leeches are, I believe, bloodsuckers by another
name.

Ideally, they would do the job and also tell you exactly what
they are doing, so that you might understand the relation.  But
the whole rationale behind a GUI is to insulate you from inner
workings, to enable operation in ignorance.
