[Wittrs] CONF: Wittgenstein on Colour, Vienna, 25-27 June

Registration is now open for the forthcoming conference

"Wittgenstein on Colour"

jointly hosted by

the Philosophy Division of the WU Vienna,
the Department of Philosophy of the University of Vienna, and
the Vienna Forum for Analytic Philosophy.

Conference Theme

Ludwig Wittgenstein's so-called "Remarks on Colour" are frequently
described as extremely fragmented and exceptionally difficult to
understand, and their significance remains (on the whole) unclear.
Furthermore, compared with other aspects of Wittgenstein's philosophy,
his thoughts on colour have, to date, received little attention.
The conference aims to substantially advance our understanding of this
material, which is without doubt among the most opaque and perplexing of
Wittgenstein's writings.
