[wisb] Wisconsin Point update

Just got off the phone with Daryl Tessen again. He said that the day was
generally much slower than it had been yesterday, but they still had some
decent birds:

2 Parasitic Jaegers were seen (one adult and one sub-adult).

One "probable" Pomarine was spotted today, but it was further out, so not
certain.

A Pacific Loon was seen at two different times.

1 Cackling Goose

3 Franklin's Gulls, but no Sabine's.

50 Am. Golden-Plovers, although he said the shorebirds were generally
sparse.

2 Harris's Sparrows (along with other species) were spotted along the road
in the usual area near the tip of Wisconsin Point. They were coming in for
scattered bird seed.

As Peter mentioned, lots of rain (and wind) is expected on Thursday, so if
you are coming up early -- be prepared!

I should mention that Seth Cutright made a good suggestion to me -- that we
try to refrain from throwing chips or other greasy junk food to the gulls
for "chumming" this year. I think that bread and popcorn are OK, and any
protein-type items (fish guts, anyone??), so please bring some if you are
coming up. We have often found that if we bring the gull flocks in closer,
that jaegers will generally fly in closer, also (to harass the gulls).
