On the way home from work this evening, I stopped for a little while to check out the Myrick Marsh. The highlight of the stop was seeing 5 Wilson's Phalaropes (including 4 females). I saw the birds from the T in the trail just west of the two floating observation docks. I was scanning to the northeast and the birds were in the muddy area in front of a line of last year's cattails along the railroad tracks. They were a long way out, but still very easy to recognize through a scope.
