Just got back from morning walk on Wild Goose Trail. Saw a thrush that I'm
quite sure was a hermit thrush. White eye-ring, breast spotting not as
prominent as wood thrush and raised it's tail at least once. By looking at
ebird seems to be way early for wood thrush also. So feel safe in calling
it my FOY hermit thrush. Also had my FOY swamp sparrow. On drive home had
Wilson's snipe in 3 different spots, one of which had over 20, some right
next to the road for excellent look.
