COMMON LOON, AMERICAN WOODCOCK, WILSON'S SNIPE calling on territory, extreme
southern Rusk County last night. I have compiled all of the names sent me for
inclusion in this email alert tree. Away we go! I am also sending a one time
copy to the entire WISBIRDNET membership in case anyone else out there missed
the original post and would still like to be included in this email tree.
Please keep this email in a folder or draft bin and retrieve it whenever you
have a sighting from this corner of the state that you'd like to share.
Remember to hit REPLY ALL!
The subject line WILL ALWAYS READ "Whoa! Drop Everything and Bird the Chippewa
Valley!" Therefore, the subject line should be left AS IS -- so that it will
always be recognizable as our regional email alert system. Please put the name
of the bird(s) found, and location, at the TOP of the BODY of the email (see
above!), with details AFTER. That way anyone who opens the message will
immediately see what's hot/featured.
Please limit the chit-chat (save it for backchannel or WISBIRDNET). Keep the
message to the point (the rare, "newly arrived", or otherwise cool bird seen).
This is designed to serve as a simple notification system, NOT a conduit for
discussion. And do remember to sign your message.
If you wish to be ADDED to this email tree, simply contact me and I will add
your name to the template message. If you would like to be removed from this
list, simply contact me personally. Questions? Suggestions?
Many More Birds to You
Steve Betchkal
