[wisb] Re: Who Found American Woodcock Tonight?

I walked into Badfish WA and as I turned to head back I had 1 woodcock fly
close by. I can't hear them anymore . And really miss the twitter of thier
wings.
I forgot 2 things on my post yesterday. We only had 2 small groups of
longspurs and we were in really good areas. 2nd there was a Tiger Salamander
crossing Harvey Road (slowly). It might have been 40 degrees out, but with
the cold wind it seemed like 0.
Sorry in advance for this, but both Chris and Mike are wonderful birders
(and people) and both have helped me out. I can be in a woods full of chips
and calls and not hear zip. On one trip Chris blew me away at what he can
hear.
