Hi Folks,
Just a brief note that I had some good birds at the house in McFarland today.
This morning I had 4 ww crossbills flyover unexpectedly! That was BIGBY #100!
I also had a lone siskin and a loon flyover this morning. This evening I had a
nice adult eagle do a "tower flyby" while eating my venison burger. Also had
flyover gadwall, wigeon and bonaparte's gull. The yahara river is very low and
has now exposed quite a few mudflats. I'm expecting shorebirds!!! I had some
blue-winged teal feeding in front of the house, which is the first time I've
seen a non-flying BWTE from my yard. Bring on the Hermit Thrushes!
