My strangest parking lot bird was seeing a snowy owl in the crowded Wal-Mart
parking lot in Appleton.

You won't believe me....Prothontary Warbler, saw this lifer in Wyalusing as the
brilliant male landed on the rearview mirror of an ugly aqua pick-up truck!
Not the visual record I had hoped for but we take what we get.

Hmmm... off the top of my head, I can think of two lifers I got in parking
lots: California Gull in a restaurant parking lot in Cheyenne, WY (I looked out
the window while finishing dinner & noticed it
dumpster-diving) and a flock of Black Skimmers in the parking lot of the
visitor's center just as we crossed the bridge from Titusville over to Merritt
Island, FL.
