Gerry Janz checked Lake DuBay in the late afternoon and found the
following influx:
-----
This evenings after-work stop along the Lake Dubay dam turned up over 400
waterfowl on the flowage including; 12 Long-tailed ducks, 8 White-winged
scoters and 3 Surf scoters. Other birds of note included 15 Horned grebes, 65
Red-breasted mergansers and 3 Common loons. The remainder of the ducks were
split about 65/35% between Scaup and Redheads.
Gerry Janz
------
Checking DuBay in the morning I had Scaup, Redheads and Horned Grebe for
a total 75 birds. I sensed today would be a good day but needed to be
in to work. I did have a Snow Bunting.
If past experience is any guide these birds will be gone by morning.
