A friendâ??s predicament: A robin has built a nest directly under the seat of his tractor. The tractor will probably be needed before the young fledge. Eggs are currently being incubated. Questions: 1) Is there any chance the robins will find and use the nest if it is moved? 2) How long is the incubation period? [?13 days] 3) How long before young fledge after the hatch? [?14 days] 4) Do the robins still use the nest while caring for fledglings? 5) If the nest is destroyed, will the robins have time to build another nest and have young? [?Two broods per year and three broods is not uncommon.] Any solutions that birders have to help with this concern will be appreciated! Thanks sincerely!
