[wisb] Red-necked Phalarope on Green Bay

A heavily molting adult Red-necked Phalarope was found with mixed flocks of
shorebirds on the islands of lower Green Bay yesterday. Bird was in with
Barid's Sandpipers and Semipalmated Plovers. Historically this is about the
time that we use to see flocks of Red-necks (Northern then) bobbing on the bay
waters feeding on invertebrates. They often lingered until October.

On another note Cattle Egrets have also returned to the islands after a seven
year absence. Two nests with young were found in the the Great Egret colony.
