Hi everyone, As I was looking through some pictures of Rough-legged Hawks, I notice a few dark morph birds that had light, whitish-looking eyes. Going through the rest of my pictures, I found other dark Roughies with dark eyes. I know that raptors' eye colors usually change from juvenile to adult, but I've only ever paid attention to it in light morph birds. Could that be what is occurring here, with the juvies having dark eyes and the adults having light? Any information/feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Good birding! -Ted Keyel Sun Prairie, Dane Cty #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
