[wisb] Re: PSA: Accessible Birdwatching

Hi,

One location I would suggest is 6 Mile Rd in Ozaukee County. At the
south end of 6 mile just north of Dixie Rd you can normally get Upland
Sandpiper along with other grassland birds. The north end of 6 Mile
(Schwengel WPA) will yield grassland species, some marsh species, and
a special treat for many is the semi-regular winter extravaganza of
Short Eared Owls and Snowy Owls (of course, depends on the year and
the snow depth).

No walking necessary. You can do it from your car.
