[wisb] Off Topic - Wisconsin Elk

I'm wondering if anyone knows any more details of Wisconsin's Elk herd than can
be found on the internet.
I am 98% certain I saw elk droppings in NW Florence County last week. Though
moose would be more likely, they were not moose droppings. I also talked to an
individual that had captured photos of an elk on his wildlife cam set up near
Pelican Lake.
Despite the fact that the elk population is not robust, are others being
reported outside the Clam Lake area?
