I neglected to mention in my earlier post for High Cliff SP that a Pileated WP was calling and working in the trees at the beginning of the Lime Kiln Trail for over a half hour. This may be the first one I have ever seen here. In my yard this afternoon and evening, a Gray-cheeked Thrush as been working the berms for bugs (FOY). Oddly the only thrush I am now missing for the year is the Wood!
