[wisb] Nine Springs ponds- Dane Co

A short visit this morning after the rain (water levels are very low,  
great for shore birds):

4 white pelicans
20 great egrets
3 green backed herons
2  cormorants
1 osprey
2 red tailed hawks
1 very dark raptor with the wing pattern of a kite?
2 wood ducks
2 blue winged teals
Northern Shovelers
gadwells
10-15 dunlins
2 spotted sandpipers
a few semipalmated plovers
Killdeer plovers
yellow warblers
american redstart
