Below is a list of interesting bird species seen in extreme northern
Racine County this morning:
Horned Lark (a flock along hwy. O south of Caldwell)

Rough-legged Hawk (flying west across hwy. 83 by the Tichigan Wildlife Area)

Northern Shrike (in the Tichigan Wildlife Area between hwy. 83 and Marsh
Rd.)

Trumpeter Swan (loafing with Mute Swans on Tichigan Lake in Buena Park)

It was a great day to be out birding,

Mukwonago, Waukesha Co.
