[wisb] My 2011 "yard list" (so far)

As 2011 is just about halfway done, I decided to tally my yard list for the
year (so far). I define my "yard list" as birds I see and hear while at home.
This includes birds I see out my windows (flyovers included) as well as birds
heard.

To date this year, my "yard list" stands at 51 species, which is pretty good,
considering that my "back yard" looks like this, when looking north:

My yard list would be much much shorter than 51 species if I didn't happen to
live so close to Lake Michigan. I live a block away from the top of the lake
bluff, and I can see the lake when I look to the east from my balcony:

here. It doesn't look quite like this to the naked eye, but the trees in the
foreground are about a block from where I live. That's Lake Michigan in the
background...looking east from my balcony.
