[wisb] Mother's Day Ibis at Horicon Marsh

And it was so very nice of them to 'present' themselves to us! During a bit
of birding for Mother's day, our first pass through Horicon on highway 49 late
Sunday afternoon yielded solid looks at a couple birds through spotting scopes.
After a trip along the auto tour, on a second pass of the highway, we found 4
ibis wading and eating to the west and a little beyond the shed (pump house?)
on the south side of the road. We stopped to watch, and they obligingly moved
closer - and closer - until they were just off the strip of grass between the
gravel (where the vehicle was parked) and the water! Didn't need binoculars.
Did have the camera and the bird nearly filled the frame - beautiful! If
you'd like a look:

We did have a good laugh as we were watching the ibis work their way toward us
- a bus filled with what I assume were birders from the Bird Festival was
cruising the highway. The bus came to a stop across the road from us, all the
windows flew open, and binoculars and cameras by the dozen were poked out the
windows! Happy Mother's day for all!

P.S. The black necked stilts were also very cooperative, but we missed seeing
a whooping crane by 5 minutes.
