[wisb] Maiden Rock Raptors

Hi Folks,

Spent a nice ten minutes watching the adult male? Peregrine harass numerous
crows at Maiden Rock along the Upper Miss. I think that of the over ten
minutes that I watched him repeatedly stoop on crows and soar in the wind I'm
pretty sure he never flapped once!

And just who do these crows think they are??? They would fly out of the trees
and then duck for cover...only to do it again and again. I like to think that
they were a gang of young male hoodlum crows up to no good and just testing
their skills despite their obvious peril. No doubt they'd been drinking.

Also seen at the site were Red-tailed Hawks, Sharp-shinned Hawk, and a few Bald
Eagles.
