Greetings,
A lovely day of bird banding...species banded include: Orange-crowned
warbler, magnolia warbler, black-capped chickadees (3), red-eyed vireo,
ovenbird (3), hermit thrush (5), white-throated sparrow (17), and
white-crowned
sparrow (2).
Recaptured two chickadees: 1) banded 17 Oct. 2008, and 2) banded 20 April
2008.
Some species observed: winter wren, dark-eyed junco, two cooper's hawks
chasing each other, and cedar waxwings.
Next banding session: Sunday, 9 Oct.
